Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10 to reach end of life on January 12

For those running older versions of Internet Explorer, it’s time to upgrade because Microsoft is ending support for the browser. These older versions of Internet Explorer will no longer receive regular support and security fixes after 12th January 2016.

In the next Windows Update set to be distributed next Tuesday, Microsoft will be including an ‘end of life’ patch which will prompt Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10 users to upgrade their browsers.

If you’re running Windows 8, 8.1 or Windows 10, there is nothing for you to do as you will already be on the most current version of Internet Explorer.

If you’re still using any version of Internet Explorer below 11, it’s time to upgrade now, before it’s too late.
